Welcome to my website! My name is Daniel Hayman and I am a freelance Audio Technician. I have a wealth of experience in the audio industry; I graduated this year from Leeds Metropolitan University with a First Class Degree in Audio Technology.
My degree has prepared me for work within the industry in various ways as the course covered system test and measurement, DSP programming and web applications. Furthermore, completing my degree has developed my communication techniques so I am able to confidently liaise with clients, as well as whole-heartedly extending my enthusiasm for all things audio!
What is more, whilst at university I took the initiative to complete a placement year so that I could really get a feel for the industry and I could develop my knowledge further. I took a placement with Pro Audio Systems, Bradford. This year was very enriching and since completing my placement I have been able to work as a freelance audio technician with Pro Audio Systems.
Moreover, whilst at university and on a freelance basis now I worked at Leeds University Union as a venue / audio technician. Whilst at L.U.U. I was given the opportunity to work with prestigious artists such as Ellie Goulding and The XX. I have further freelance experience since working with Lowering The Tone since I graduated in June.
